Hands-On Learning In Small Groups

The Trailside Repair Course isn’t just theory; it’s practical, step‑by‑step training course using your own bike. Working in a small group, you’ll learn how to deal with the most common mechanical problems that can stop a ride, from punctures and broken chains to bent derailleurs or hangers.
With guidance throughout, you’ll practice each repair yourself, building the confidence to handle issues on the trail or road to get you home safely.

What you’ll learn:

Flat Tyre Fixes:
Quick tube swaps, patching, tubeless and CO₂ inflator use.
Chain Break & Quick-Link Repair:
How to deal with snapped chains using a multitool and spare link.
Brake Adjustments on the Go:
Emergency tweaks for rubbing pads or binding brakes.
Derailleur & Shifting Troubleshooting:
Field fixes for bent hangers, or misaligned gears.
Wheel & Spoke Emergencies:
Temporary truing tricks and spoke replacement basics.
Bolt Checks:
Keeping critical parts tight with a trailside multitool.
Safety Wrap-Up:
Knowing when a trailside fix is enough to get home versus when to stop riding.
