Suspension Workshop

Suspension isn’t just about forks and shocks — it’s the whole system that keeps your bike smooth, controlled, and durable. From stanchions to pivot bearings, regular servicing prevents costly failures and keeps your ride performing at its best.

Why it matters:

  • Forks & shocks: dust and mud past the seals create abrasive wear, leading to air loss, sticky movement, and scratched stanchions.
  • Pivot bearings: seized bearings stop the rear suspension from moving freely, causing creaks and noises, and put extra stress on the frame and linkages. Left unchecked, they can crack linkages — a failure that costs thousands to repair.
  • Preventative care: servicing before problems arise saves money, improves handling, and extends the life of your suspension system.

Recommended intervals:

  • Fork oil changes may be needed from as little as 30 hours of riding, depending on brand and conditions.
  • For regular riders, we recommend at least one suspension service per year.
  • Pivot bearings should be checked and replaced as part of routine suspension care to avoid hidden damage.

What we do:

  • Service forks, shocks, and rear suspension linkages (replace seals, using correct manufacturers oil)
  • Replace pivot bearings when needed to restore smooth movement and protect your frame.
  • Check air pressure, sag, and operation.
  • Clean and protect components to extend lifespan.
  • Pricing is quoted per job, based on your suspension setup.
